Enligt Polge kan en doft bara skapas genom att andra dofter föregår den. Därför granskades Coco och Coco Mademoiselle noga. Dess image kombinerades med Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanels förkärlek för svart och venetiansk barock. Den sista ingrediensen var en touch av samtida. Voila, Coco Noir var född. Den citrusaktiga toppen består av bergamott, apelsin och grapefrukt. I hjärtat finns blommiga noter av geranium, narcisser, ros och jasmin i kombination med persika.
